Although hot melt adhesive can be used in many industries, the bonding materials and performance requirements corresponding to different bonding types vary from one another. As a hot melt adhesive manufacturer, before developing hot melt adhesives suitable for specific industries, it is necessary to clearly understand the substances to be bonded, their physical properties, and whether chemical reactions will occur when they come into contact with the hot melt adhesive, and so on. For example, the hot melt adhesive used on paper boxes/gift boxes has relatively high requirements for the wettability of the glue; the hot melt adhesive used in the medical field has higher requirements for the allergenicity and initial adhesion of the glue; while the hot melt adhesive used for express bags is required to have a certain effect of breaking materials. It can be seen from this that the same hot melt adhesive cannot meet these requirements simultaneously.
Although hot melt adhesive cannot be universally applicable in all industries, there are still some hot melt adhesives that can meet the application requirements of multiple industries at the same time. Because there will be certain commonalities among different materials, when they are bonded with hot melt adhesive, they will exhibit similar reactions and thus produce almost the same bonding effect. To some extent, this can be understood as the applicability of hot melt adhesive.
The applicability of hot melt adhesive does not mean that it is universal. Hot melt adhesive can be used in many industries, so it is said to have strong applicability. However, in terms of specific application effects, hot melt adhesive is not universal, and everyone needs to have a correct understanding of this.
