Some time ago, a customer who produces mirror cases found us and reported that the glue they originally used couldn't stick anymore when the weather turned cold. They hoped that we could send several types of hot melt adhesives for eyeglass cases for testing. Sending samples not only tests our familiarity with our own products but also requires us to understand the specific applications and conditions of customers so that the recommended products can be accurate and in place. In this process, due to the particularity of our hot melt adhesive products - they will be affected by changes in temperature, environment, materials, etc. When recommending products, we should not only listen to customer suggestions but also have our own judgments. We need to consider areas that customers haven't thought of from a higher perspective.
We often find that customers all hope that we can send them multiple glue samples for testing, as if they want to choose the product with the highest cost-effectiveness. In fact, in practice, it is very difficult for customers to choose. The process of testing glue takes a lot of time, and very often the product won't immediately show its incompatibility. Since most customers don't know much about the characteristics of hot melt adhesive products, once customers put price first, it's difficult to fully take into account the product's performance. As the saying goes, time is money. At this time, very high requirements are put forward for our sales and technical teams. Rich personal experience is needed to judge and the extensive application of products in more industries. In this way, when customers need it, we can quickly recommend products that meet customer applications. So, in my opinion, sending samples is not about quantity but about accuracy. What customers really need is for us to provide products with good stability and continuity. Dear friends, what's your opinion?
